MK II 686 cm3 SOHC Engine
The Kodiak 700 EPS SE is equipped for demanding work with a powerful, large-displacement engine that delivers maximum torque and power in its class. With its second-generation MK II 686 engine and single overhead camshaft (SOHC) with 4 valves, electronic fuel injection (EFI), precisely tuned engine control unit (ECU), refined ports, and other updates, it provides lower fuel consumption, increased torque, and smoother engine operation.
Ultramatic® transmission
Yamaha's flagship Ultramatic® automatic transmission, with its low and high gear ratios and reverse, neutral, and park positions, is one of the most durable and efficient CVT systems in the ATV world. The drivetrain produces excellent low-speed pulling power and a very natural-feeling engine braking with all-wheel drive for more confidence and control when descending hills.
Independent suspension and front disc brakes
The compact and independent A-arms with double wishbone suspension and long-travel KYB shock absorbers on the Kodiak 700 EPS SE provide a high level of comfort and excellent handling, making them suitable even for the most demanding terrain. For durable and reliable braking, the Kodiak 700 EPS SE is equipped with front disc brakes and a sealed rear wet brake system.
On-Command® System with 2-/4-Wheel Drive/Differential Lock
The Kodiak 450 EPS SE models are equipped with the user-friendly On-Command® 2WD/4WD and differential lock system for complete control, and fast, efficient switching between 2WD and 4WD or even full differential lock, allowing you to choose the right setting for the terrain and riding conditions.
Storage space and winch
The load capacity of the durable front and rear racks is as much as 140 kg, and the Kodiak 700 EPS SE can tow 600 kg, making it a powerful assistant on the farm, in the factory, or in the forest. The front-mounted WARN VRX 25 winch is standard equipment for Europe, and the EPS model is equipped with a 2-inch hitch, making it the perfect compact work vehicle.
Electric Power Steering (EPS)
The Kodiak 700 EPS SE model is equipped with Electric Power Steering (EPS) for increased comfort and reduced physical effort. EPS is designed to provide the ideal balance between driver assistance and responsive feedback. This system maintains light steering and precise handling, enhancing driver comfort, confidence, and control while riding.
