Powerful competitive engine
The competitive 450cc, 4-stroke, 5-valve YFZ450R SE engine features a powerful camshaft for instant throttle response and winning high-RPM power. The air intake system provides excellent fuel efficiency, reduced exhaust emissions, and increased durability.
Electronic fuel injection
For a quick throttle response, the YFZ450R SE model is equipped with a 42mm Mikuni throttle body, which includes an ISC (Idle Speed Control) system for easy and reliable starting and warm-up. This advanced system ensures instant starting and contributes to reduced exhaust emissions.
Hybrid chassis technology
The Model YFZ450R SE uses a special combination of aluminum and steel in its frame and swingarm construction. This innovative »hybrid chassis« design ensures a winning combination of light weight and superior power, along with excellent ride balance.
Rough switch
The Model YFZ450R SE is the first ATV in its class with a slipper clutch, designed to partially disengage during aggressive downshifts before a turn. The slipper clutch virtually eliminates engine braking effects, allowing the rider to control their corner entry speed for improved handling and quicker lap times.
Adjustable long-travel suspension
This model is equipped with front shock absorbers with adjustable Kayaba springs and a calibrated rear shock absorber, resulting in reduced unsprung weight. These adjustable units provide improved maneuverability, keeping you one step ahead of the competition.
