New generation of MT-09 and MT-09 SP models, new XSR900 GP and all-new RayZR scooter
For 2024, Yamaha offers European motorcycle and scooter riders an exceptionally wide selection of models covering all categories. Yamaha Motor Company was founded in 1955 by Genichi Kawakami and focuses on creating innovative and high-quality vehicles designed to provide all our customers with KANDO – that inner feeling of deep satisfaction and intense excitement that you get when you encounter something of exceptional value, quality, and performance.
From the inspiring FEEL palette that evokes emotions, to the thrilling RACE models for the track, and the elegant MOVE scooters for mobility—every Yamaha vehicle is much more than just the sum of its parts. Designed, styled, and manufactured by people who have a true passion for their work, Yamaha motorcycles and scooters have the power to add a new dimension to everyone's life.
For 2024, Yamaha will introduce completely revamped and higher-performing MT-09 and MT-09 SP Hyper Naked models, the brand-new XSR900 GP Sport Heritage model with a design reminiscent of 80s and 90s GP racers—while the Urban Mobility lineup will be strengthened by the introduction of the dynamic, affordable, and lightweight new RayZR scooter model. The Ténéré 700 Extreme and Ténéré 700 Explore models, which were introduced in selected countries in 2023, will be available across all European markets—in addition to these new models, a wide selection of Yamaha motorcycles and scooters will also be available in numerous new colors.
Hyper Naked
A decade ago, Yamaha drew inspiration from Tokyo's underground cycling movement—the ‘Dark Side of Japan’—and created the first MT-09 model. And ever since that day, Yamaha's Hyper Naked models have dominated this environment. With a sporty fairing, engine and chassis design inspired by supersports, and advanced electronic technologies, the aggressively styled MT series is the ultimate expression of intent, allowing riders of all ages and experience levels to truly experience the ‘Dark Side of Japan’.

Urban Mobility
New RayZR scooter for beginners
RayZR is a simple and affordable choice for daily commuters who need reliability, ease of use, a sporty look, and a low price for their journeys in an urban environment. Featuring a dynamic motorcycle-style design, this affordable scooter is powered by an efficient 125cc EURO5-compliant Blue Core engine with a special electric power assist system for extra acceleration from a standstill.
The RayZR weighs just 99 kg, making it Yamaha’s lightest scooter; as a result, it’s very agile in heavy city traffic and features under-seat storage where you can stow a helmet* or a shopping bag. The RayZR’s eco-friendly Start & Stop system automatically shuts off the engine when the scooter stops at traffic lights or intersections, reducing fuel consumption by up to 4 %, while the innovative new smart motor-generator system ensures exceptionally quiet engine start-up.
In many countries, the RayZR can be ridden with a category B driving license**, and with Yamaha's recognized reliability and wide sales network, this 125 cc scooter at a competitive price gives urban riders the opportunity to buy a top-tier brand for carefree use.
