The silent motor offers assistance the moment you start pedaling – you can choose from five different operating modes, depending on whether you want maximum power or a longer range. With the color TFT display, you can monitor your speed, range, and battery capacity – and view navigation and fitness apps when you connect your smartphone.
The BOOSTER is equipped with LED lighting, 80mm travel front forks, and grippy 20 x 4-inch tires, making it ready to take you to your destination - any time, day or night. Yamaha’s exclusive features include stylish fork covers, hidden control cables, and a rear carrier – with a wide range of genuine accessories, including stylish luggage and customizable color panels that attach to the aluminum frame, you can easily create your own BOOSTER.

S-pedelec electric moped, category AM
The new Yamaha BOOSTER is an S-pedelec or Category AM electric moped, capable of reaching 45 km/h, taking the popular wide-tire concept to the next level. Choose from five different running modes with a range of torque ratios – from 60% (ECO) for extended range, up to 400% (HIGH) for maximum performance.
Modern and minimalist design
BOOSTER features a modern design that includes a powerful and lightweight aluminum front frame along with a minimalist fairing, giving this next generation of eBikes a very distinctive look.
Comfortable, agile, and lightweight
With a U-shaped aluminum frame and a compact Yamaha engine, the BOOSTER has a low center of gravity, allowing for easy handling and agile maneuverability – ideal characteristics for riding on busy city streets.
20 x 4 inch wide tires
The wide 20 x 4-inch tires are not just about looks – together with the 80mm travel front fork, they also help smooth out rough surfaces like cobblestones for a smooth and comfortable ride. The special tread pattern, on the other hand, provides great grip on various road surfaces for confident riding.
Large diameter disc brakes
For smooth and efficient braking performance, the BOOSTER Easy is equipped with 180 mm diameter disc brakes front and rear, giving you control in urban traffic.
Mirror, horn, and steering wheel controls
The BOOSTER is an s-pedelec or an AM category electric moped and is equipped with a mirror, horn, and handlebar controls, as well as a license plate holder.
Top drive unit Yamaha PW-S2 45
Display Interface A allows for easy reading of information via a simple, large-format LCD screen that includes speedometer, battery level indicator, assist mode setting, trip meter, odometer, and range. For added convenience, the assist mode can be changed with the press of a button.
C TFT Multi-function Color Display Interface
Yamaha's multi-function 2.8-inch color C TFT display offers various background colors – and with a clear screen, you can easily view the displayed data. You can enhance functionality with ride management, fitness tracking, and map-based navigation by downloading apps to your smartphone and connecting it to the display.
Exclusive Yamaha fairing
BOOSTER has a high standard specification, which includes color-matched fork covers, a Roxim LED headlight and Koso rear LED light, as well as concealed control cables, a rear carrier, and an adjustable Royal Orbis seat.
Automatic help mode
BOOSTER offers advantages due to its selection of sophisticated electronic technology, contributing to a better riding experience. By monitoring drive torque, riding speed, crank rotation, and incline angle, the automatic support mode selects the appropriate level of assistance for a smooth and natural ride.
Zero-shot technology
The PW-S2 drive unit provides instant assistance the moment it detects the slightest pressure on the pedal. This zero-cadence technology always ensures a confident and enjoyable ride—it's especially useful when you start riding uphill.
Wide range of original accessories
Yamaha's selection of original accessories includes front and rear baskets, inner and side bags, as well as premium pedals and a smartphone mounting system. A range of side covers in different colors is also available, which can be easily attached to the sides of the aluminum front frame for a completely new look.
