New joystick with innovative software
The Yamaha Helm Master EX system, with a completely new look, premium materials, and an ergonomic design, also has a completely new new control stick with innovative software. Smooth shifting and single-function buttons allow for easy operation and a better overall experience, while the joystick provides good control in tight areas, such as in a marina. If the vessel has multiple engines, it is now enabled lateral movement and rotation along the axis for even greater precision. The new Helm Master EX control stick also allows Autopilot adjustment in Position adjustment with the SetPoint function.
First in the industry!
What was previously only possible for multi-engine vessels, the Helm Master EX system now brings also for single outboard Yamaha engines with digital electronic control. Forget those awkward moments when you struggled to maneuver your vessel in tight spaces with a stiff steering wheel, because using a joystick requires no effort at all.
New autopilot
Yamaha's new autopilot offers numerous benefits, providing you the opportunity to relax while the engines do the work. It is part of the mandatory installation for the full Helm Master EX system and includes a small console keypad, a console compass sensor, a high-precision GPS antenna, and a control unit.
Holding course
Provides numerous convenient functions for controlling and operating the vessel, such as directional hold safe direction with precise adjustments until the autopilot is functioning perfectly, with your vessel Automatically stays on the direction set by GPS, May your journey be smooth and completely easy.
Quiet and fast triggers
It is now possible to add Yamaha's premium Digital Electronic Steering (DES) for use on one to four Yamaha Digital Electronic Steering outboards. This not only creates a more spacious steering area without traditional steering pumps, hoses, and cables, but the electric steering also exceptionally quiet and fast, above and then they use even less energy from batteries like hydraulic power steering, so your user experience will be smooth and pleasant.
Install anywhere on the boat
The latest Helm Master EX system allows for the installation of a single, Helm Master EX control sticks anywhere on the vessel. Since the helm and throttle lever do not need to be located next to the remote station, the location options are endless, allowing the boat skipper to maneuver the vessel from an ideal position when navigating in tight spaces at a precisely determined speed.
The remote station can be added as a second station on boats for daily cruising where the Helm Master EX system is installed on the console, or as a third station of the Helm Master EX system on flybridge boats.

New remote control
The new side-mount Drive-by-Wire control for the Helm Master EX system brings the benefits of the HelmMaster EX model to a wider range of boats. The side-mount control is ergonomically designed and adapted for vessels with limited space. It has the same functions as the top-mount single 6x9 control, such as; Speed Control, Auto Trim*, in Station Select.

Helm Master EX is polished to the smallest detail, including electronic switches and a floating smart key, They enable automatic recognition and management of the system in a smart and easy way. New backlit switch plates enable space-saving, operation by pressing buttons and a modern look. These new panels save significant dashboard space, which can be used for tools, and the elegant design ensures a perfect fit with the look of modern vessels.
