On Sunday, May 17th, Maribor will once again join the global charity motorcycle event Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, which brings together fans of classic and vintage motorcycles and raises prostate cancer research funds in support men's mental health.
The event will begin at 11. carriage on the Main Square, in front of the plague column, where a photo session of motorcycles, female and male motorcyclists will take place between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. Then, the procession of elegantly dressed participants will head across the Main Bridge towards Studenci, and the gathering will continue at Bar Route 66.
The Maribor performance is being prepared by Fotoklub Maribor, and the honorary patron of the event is the mayor The Municipality of Maribor Saša Arsenovič. This year's charity event is also supported by Moto-Nautics, who participates in the event as a donor, thereby contributing to raising awareness about important men's health issues and connecting the motorcycle community.
The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride is an international movement that began in Sydney in 2012 and today takes place in over one hundred countries worldwide. Over the years, participants have raised 59 million US dollars for Movember Foundation projects.
