The Model YFZ50 features a compact body designed for riders aged 6 to 9 years old. Its adjustable plastic panels have smooth edges for improved safety, and a spacious riding position offers plenty of room for kids of various sizes. It's styled after the Yamaha YFZ50R race model. And dreams are made of the same material!
Easy to use and enjoyable to drive
Everything on the YFZ50 model has been designed for ease of use and riding enjoyment. The handlebar brake levers operate the same as on a bicycle, giving riders a familiar feel, and a quick and simple starting system provides electric start. With a fully automatic, belt-driven CVT transmission, riding the YFZ50 is truly child's play!
Parental control security features
The Model YFZ50 is designed to give parents complete control over their child's riding. The throttle limiter bolt adjusts acceleration and top speed according to individual skill levels, and an electronic limiter allows for the option of limiting engine RPM. A lanyard attached to a safety tether allows parents to shut off the engine immediately if necessary.

The Model YFZ50 is designed for hours of family fun, so we've made it easy to maintain—even for parents with no ATV experience. With an automatic transmission, there's no clutch to adjust, and you can check and clean the air filter without any tools. This means you can just focus on riding and enjoying!

The compact YFZ50 model is only 1250 mm long and 820 mm wide, making it easy to transport in a van, pickup truck, or even a station wagon to the track or trail. The parking brake prevents the vehicle from moving during transport, and the rear grab bar and front carry bar make loading and unloading easier.
