The Wolverine® RMAX™ 1000 lineup follows our »Jin-Ki Kanno« development philosophy – which translates from Japanese to »the profound, kinesthetic thrill of being one with the vehicle« – delivering a super-capable off-road vehicle that gives the driver and passengers the confidence to overcome the toughest terrain. We've combined the unmatched power of Yamaha's 999cc parallel-cross-plane-engine with the RMAX D-Mode's unique Sport, Trail, and Crawl modes. The in-cabin adjustable FOX® 2.0 iQS shocks enhance driver comfort for exploring terrain in style.

The incredible power of the 999cc parallel-twin, 8-valve DOHC engine delivers smooth performance at all revs and class-leading output. The 8,500 rpm redline signifies aggressive, dynamic riding is at the heart of this machine. Legendary durability and reliability, the hallmarks of every Yamaha engine, ensure your peace of mind.
3 Driving Modes – 1 Ultra-Versatile Vehicle
Yamaha's electronic throttle control system (YCC-T) works with our Ultramatic® transmission and On-Command systems to provide full power delivery in all conditions through 3-mode D-Mode (Drive mode) control. Choose Sport mode for wide-open spaces and spirited riding – Trail mode for fun and relaxed riding – or Crawl mode for low-speed technical tasks like rock crawling, where the enhanced handling from the longer wheelbase truly shines.
Tires designed for the toughest terrain
14-inch aluminum wheels feature 30-inch Carnivore tires and are staggered at the four corners, so you only need one spare. These specific radial tires are developed exclusively for the RMAX, with the intention of providing precise handling and comfort, with a durable sidewall feel. The tread pattern provides excellent grip, regardless of the terrain.
Sistem On Command – Off-Road Mode
In addition to 2-wheel drive, 4-wheel drive, and differential lock modes, the On Command system also offers an off-road mode.
In off-road mode, the rear differential unlocks, allowing for a smaller turning radius and less terrain damage. Grass, you can breathe easy, you're safe now!
Advanced suspension with an emphasis on comfort
The durable suspension is designed for an excellent blend of handling: optimal low-speed responsiveness, a balanced feel on trails, and maximum resistance at the extreme low end of the shock travel during high-speed damping and rapid cornering. A-arms with a wide cockpit stance and easily adjustable FOX® iQS shocks provide a perfect front and rear combination.
Aggressive styling
With eye-catching limited edition interior and exterior colors, an aggressive front-end design, and rugged Carnage Wolverine® RMAX™4 1000 LE tires, it combines superior performance with an imposing look. LED headlights and »evil eye« daytime running lights further enhance the appearance, while LED taillights, brake lights, and a reverse light ensure improved visibility.
Durable front bumper
Aggressively styled and durable front bumper with a powerful WARN® VRX45 winch. In addition to its attractive appearance, it also features two welded tow and tether points. Optional accessories include additional scratch guards and light brackets.
Versatile cargo space
The Wolverine® RMAX™4 1000 models feature a large tilting cargo bed for easier transport. The bed, equipped with a hydraulic system and a robust latch, can carry up to 600 lbs of cargo, with multiple steel tie-down points available for securing your load. Add to this a towing capacity of 2,000 lbs with a standard 2-inch hitch receiver, and the Wolverine is always ready for work.
Spacious cabin for 4 people
The cabin of the Wolverine® RMAX™4 1000 LE is premium quality and, with its automotive-inspired design, offers comfortable and secure seating for four adults, featuring comfortable handgrips and six-point seatbelts for each seat. The second-row seats are elevated for excellent visibility, ensuring every passenger enjoys the ride and a great view of their surroundings.
Elegant and useful interior lighting
Driving in low light is a real pleasure with the limited edition model, which includes a refined interior package with footwell and dashboard lighting, blue LED switch lighting for quick location, and blue backlit gauges.
